This really looks and behaves like it is a P not a P n but it definitely has a Pn formatter with the RJ45 connector. Spring – Torsion spring – Provides pressure to move protective plate back into cartridge compartment when the cartridge is removed. Flag – Sensor flag assembly for tray 2 – Short rod with one flag on it – Mounts next to the pickup roller assembly.

Missing network on HP Laserjet P3005n
To cycle through the numbers more quickly, hold down the arrow button. Cover – Right upper cover – Used to cover the top side of the formatter board.
My guess is that there must be a fault somewhere in the interface between the printer and the formatter but have to idea how to go about resolving it. Press Menu to return to the Ready state. Spring – Compression spring – Provides pressure for the large tooth white gear on right side of printer.
