FZ21Z thank you for the response, unfortunately the driver you suggested doesn’t improve the card’s sound quality. I can’t find anything anywhere that says there’s a specific compatibility problem. Sometimes the audigy drivers cause problems. Dell Inspiron laptop, dual boot of XP Home and Windows 7, install of public beta went really well. Share This Page Tweet.

Do you already have sounf account? Perhaps your speakers are blown? Welcome to Windows 7 Forums. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. In Win7 I have a volume icon in task bar, but no audio output I can hear Try going to dells site and just using the regular drivers.
Finally all windows patches are up to date. Sound Card Driver is not working properly they work but some funtion is not work after 4 or 5 days use and Speaker has some clicking cadr when I hear high volumn!!

Sometimes the audigy drivers cause problems. I need a driver that detects front panel and outputs audio with it without crashing audiodg.
Also My speaker is belong inside my Laptop cant change it!
And have you tried your speakers and stuff with the Creative Audigy drivers uninstalled? Also all of the other dell recommended drivers have been installed without a hitch. Audio is working correctly.
All drivers have been uninstalled using device manager and then the system has been rebooted before installing the next driver. I am running the soind bit version of Windows 7 so I selected the 64 bit Vista drivers.

This behavior is experienced using a variety of drivers.
